More than 100 real ales and ciders will be enjoyed by the masses when the Devizes Beer and Cider Festival returns on Saturday (July 1).

Local musicians such as Devizes Town Band, Concrete Prairie, Jamie Williams and the Roots Collective, Plan of Action and Knati P will provide the soundtrack to one of the town's most popular events, which begins at 11.30am at Devizes Wharf and will continue until 10pm.

The Rotary Club of Devizes will be providing a range of food throughout the day, although visitors are allowed to bring their own.

The event is organised by CAMRA, the Campaign For Real Ale, who push for more real ale, ciders and pubs.

Entry costs £14.50 with a package price of £19.50 including £5 worth of beer tokens.

Children under 18 are welcome on the site and do not require a ticket as long as they are accompanied by a ticket holder.
