Epilepsy Action is holding a meeting on Thursday June 26 with a view to forming a new Wiltshire branch to provide support for people living with epilepsy in the area.

The meeting, entitled "Living with Epilepsy" will run from 6.30pm-8.30pm at Salisbury Playhouse, Malthouse Lane, Salisbury. Kim Morley, an epilepsy specialist nurse for Southampton City Primary Care Trust and Mark McDaid, Epilepsy Action's regional services manager for the South West.

Mark said: "We are hoping to set up a new support group in the Wiltshire area to offer ongoing support and information to people affected by epilepsy. We're looking to form a strong network of volunteers following this meeting to help in the building of a solid support service. If you are interested in getting involved, please come along and you will be made very welcome."

The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy, including people living with the condition, their friends, family and carers.
