Gazette reader Peter Hussey wrote to tell of his recent experience with the Air ambulance.
"I had to call it last weekend at the request of the emergency crew as one of our residents at St Luke's was choking.
"It came within 5 minutes and landed on the Little Common right outside the gates. Wonderful, and as a result, the resident lived to tell the tale, but the family picnicking in the background had a draughty lunch!
"Who knows who will need it next. Save the chopper!"
