Two Wiltshire pubs have been given top status by Michelin in their Eating out in Pubs 2008 guide.
The Horse and Groom in Charlton, Malmesbury and The Pear Tree, in Whitley near Melksham were given the Michelin "We most liked" Bibendum stamp.
Michelin afford the stamp to pubs that not only provide excellent food but also have at least one extra quality that makes them particularly special.
In all, 21 Wiltshire pubs made it into the guide.
