BLUE DIVISION

Goals from Adam Mercer (2), Martin Johnson, Otis Young and Sam Clarke secured a 5-1 win for Trowbridge Wanderers against home side AFC Calne. Mike Coulson scored for Calne.

Two first half goals for Westbury Youth secured them a 2-1 home victory against Amesbury Juniors. DJ Wheeler and Lee Coulson scored for Westbury.

GREEN DIVISION

Castle Combe Colts got their season off to a great start running out 6-2 winners away to local rivals Chippenham Town Youth with goals from Lui Polastrone (2), Bilal Demir (2), Matthew Holdaway 1 and Alex Williams. Rich Bray and Dan Payne scored for Chippenham.

Melksham Town youth Blue started their season with a win over promoted Westbury Youth B. Westbury took a second minute lead putting Melksham on the back foot but Melksham came more into the game and drew level on twenty-three minutes with a free kick from Paul Cuthbertson.

Two minutes later Melksham Took the lead with a fine chip from George Harding, the half finished with Jonathan Cox scoring after a fine move involving half the team.

Westbury bounced back after the break to cut the deficit as Melksham were slow to start the half again.

Melksham found their rhythm and extended their lead on forty-nine minutes through Cuthbertson and fifty minutes through Jack Kelly.

Westbury battled hard but a second from Harding and Cuthbertson chipping in with another two could not stop a good display all round from the Melksham side completing a 9-2 win.

RED DIVISION

Bradford Town Youth and Derry Hill United played a closely contested match. From the outset, both teams tried to take control of the game, with Derry Hill pressurising Bradford.

Bradford scored six minutes in to the game with a superb individual goal from Gabriel Nathan. Mid way through Ben Sessions scored for Bradford followed by an excellent free kick from Ben Lywood to make it 3-0.

Derry Hill fought back and made it 3-1 by half time. At the beginning of the second half Derry Hill started to dominate the game however, against the run of play, Robin Aldridge scored a long range shot for Bradford.

The last ten minutes of the game were very tense as Derry Hill put in 2 more goals, but Bradford managed to hold on for a 4-3 victory.

Bradford's Man of the Match was James Hazell. The referee, Luke Rudd, was outstanding and held the game together well.

First half strikes from John Weston and Sam Boyne secured a 2-0 home win for Chippenham Town Rangers against Devizes Town Youth 2nds.

Bradford Town Youth kept a clean sheet against home side FC Chippenham 2nds running out 6-0 winners with goals from Jamie Parlour (2), Matthew Brown, Alfie Wells, Harry Gorgan and Matthew Wragg.
