PLANS have been put forward to build apartments where an old health clinic in Trowbridge used to be.

RN Real Estates Ltd submitted the proposal, which involves building the eight apartments with a communal amenity roof terrace, to Wiltshire Council this month.

The old health clinic, The Halve, closed around a decade ago and around that time on the ground floor, a private dental practice opened and has been running ever since.

The dental practice will remain open as part of the plans.

RN Real Estates Ltd also want to enlarge part of the ground floor, move other units about and increase the number of car parking spaces.

The target date to decide on this is set for mid-September.

Similar plans were put forward in the past but they were rejected.
