CASH was stolen from a teenager who was pushed into a bush by a man on crutches in Beversbrook Field and had £10 stolen from his wallet.

Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses following the robbery which occurred in Calne at 2.30pm on June 16.

Although the victim, 18, was not injured, officers say he has been left shaken up by the incident.

The robber is described as white, tall, aged in his 30s and wearing tracksuit bottoms, a zip-up black jacket. He was using crutches to walk and was with a boy aged approximately 14 who was wearing ripped jeans.

PC Elliot Alvis said: “The victim in this incident wasn’t injured fortunately, but he was left very shaken up.

“I’d like to appeal to anyone who was in the area and may have seen the incident take place to contact police, or anyone who may have seen a man matching the description given in the area.”
