POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a five-year-old boy on a scooter was hit by a man on a mountain bike.
The accident happened just after 3pm on May 11 on the pavement near the junction of Quakers Road and London Road in Devizes.
PC Tom Crabtree said: "The five-year-old boy was knocked off his scooter by a man on a mountain bike. He sustained injuries to his eye and face. Iād like to speak to the man involved, or anyone who witnessed the incident take place. This happened at a busy time of day at a junction of a busy road so it is likely there were witnesses.ā
