SCOUTS took part in a Saint George’s day celebration with Cubs and Beavers as they reconfirmed their Scout promise.
Children visited a St George’s Day service at St George’s Church in Ogbourne St George in order to stand in front of the public and promise to keep the Scout law.
Graham Crawshaw, scout leader, said: “The promise is a simple way to help young people and adults keep the Fundamentals of Scouting in mind, doing their best, duty to God and to the Queen, to help other people and keep the Scout Law.”
Scouts from the first Chiseldon Air Scouts renewed their promise in front of the congregation on Monday (April 23) afternoon.
