A MAN who is accused of carrying out a stabbing in Charlotte Square, Trowbridge, is to face trial by judge and jury.
Tyrone Triggs pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
But Triggs, 36, of Grist Court, Bradford on Avon, admitted possessing a bladed article at the time of the alleged incident.
Triggs is said to have stabbed 27-year-old Dan Brown in Charlotte Square, which is just off Timbrell Street, in the early hours of June 10.
Judge Robert Pawson adjourned the case to November 13 and remanded the defendant, who appeared in court by videolink, in custody until then.
