THERE’s some corner of an English field that is forever England – tucked away in the corner of a field in Little Somerford at the annual fete was a Rover P5B.
This model served four premiers (Wilson, Heath, Callaghan and Thatcher) and all expressed deep appreciation for its quality.
The model in the photograph spent its first 39 years in Dundee and was only driven on a Friday and never left the city until it retired to Wiltshire in 2009. It is in pristine condition. How sad that Mrs May was driven in a BMW!
