A JUDGE has issued a warrant for the arrest of a man accused of supplying drugs in Swindon and Royal Wootton Bassett.

Arron Pencille, 27, was due to face trial at Swindon Crown Court after pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.

But despite attending late for the hearing Pencille left the building and a judge has now issued a warrant for his arrest and detention.

He also denied supplying drugs to another man and two counts of possessing criminal property after he was found with thousands in cash.

Pencille, of Marks House, North Swindon, is said to have been involved in the conspiracy during the first three weeks of May last year.

He is also said to have had £610 on June 16, 2014, and £2,330 the following day, money that is alleged to have been obtained through criminal activity.

Recorder Malcolm Gibney issued a warrant for his arrest without bail.
