A 21-year-old motorcyclist has suffered life-changing injuries in a crash near Everleigh.

The collision, which involved a black BMW Z4 and a Moto Roma, happened at 7.49am this morning on Marlborough Road.

The BMW was driving towards Pewsey and the motorcyclist was travelling in the opposite direction when the crash happened.

Police say the rider suffered serious life-changing leg injuries and was airlifted by the Great Western Air Ambulance to Southampton General Hospital.

The 50-year-old female of the BMW was unhurt. Officers closed the Marlborough Road at the junction of the A342 and at the tank crossing for four hours for while investigations were carried out and diversions were put in place.
