Long serving Kennet district councillor Margaret Taylor (Lab) lost her seat in the local elections.
Mrs Taylor was standing for re-election in the Devizes East seat.
Tony Duck (Devizes Guardians) and Peter Evans (Conservative) both retained their seats in Devizes East and the third seat in that ward was won by Conservative Julian Beinhorn, Mrs Taylor came fourth.
Mr Evans's wife, Sue, was elected for the Conservatives in Devizes North ward.
Mrs Evans retired from Kennet District Council in March after almost 22 years working as chief receptionist.
Paula Winchcombe retained her seat in Devizes North for the Conservatives. Nigel Carter, of Devizes Guardians, who was also seeking re-election lost out.
There were no surprises in Devizes South where both Ray Parsons, Conservative, and Jeff Ody, Devizes Guardians retained their seats.
Turnout in the Devizes wards was high with 87 per cent in Devizes East, 81 per cent in Devizes South and 70 per cent in Devizes North.
