The service team is led by Aftersales Manager Tony McMillan who has been with the organisation for 26 years. Simon Chiu has been service manager since 2003 and began his career as an apprentice in parts in 1991. His 24 years of Volvo experience helped him win a Volvo Institute Service Training award. Andy Smith is a Senior Service Advisor with 26 years’ experience. He began his career in 1989 and was rewarded for his expertise with the Institute Service Training award. James Newbury has been a Level 4-accredited Master Technician since 2001, having began as an apprentice in 1990. He has 25 years Volvo experience. Mike Hamblin, who has been a Level 4-accredited Master Technician since 2001, began his career in 2001 and won a hat-trick of Volvo Institute Service Training awards. Gary Bacon is a Level 3-accredited Technician with 16 years’ Volvo experience. He began his career in 2003. Peter Clark is a Level 2-accredited Technician who started his career in 1972. He worked full time until 65 and now works three days a week providing invaluable technical advice accrued over 43 years in the business. He also drives, meets and greets our customers. Laurence McIntyre is a Level 3-accredited Technician with 14 years’ Volvo experience who started his career in 2001. Patrick Lynn is a Level 3-accredited Technician with eight years’ Volvo experience who began his career as an apprentice in 2007.

The service team are supported by Mike Cox and Gary Acourt who have over 30 years’ experience running the successful trade parts department.
