CHIPPENHAM Town Band are looking to recruit new players of wind instruments.
The band, which reformed in 1992 after closing down around 1953, rehearses at The Cause Arts Centre, The Causeway on Mondays from 7.15pm to 9.15pm.
They were chosen by a film company to star in Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death, filmed in Biddestone in September and shown on Sky TV on Boxing Day and in January 2015.
They also play weddings, birthday parties, village fetes and in local parks.
Band chairman Angela Summers said: "Grades are not important as long as you can read music and play to a reasonable standard, are interested in meeting other musicians and going out with the band to engagements."
Anyone interested in joining can contact bandmaster Alan Horner on (01249) 657654 or via www.chippenhamtownband.org or go along to a rehearsal.
