WILTSHIRE Mind is looking for people to jump at the chance to help it with fundraising.
The independent mental health charity, based in Melksham, is organising its first skydiving fundraiser in Salisbury on May 24 and is looking for people to do the dive or sponsor a jumper.
The charity needs approximately £100,000 a year to carry out its work and relies solely on donations. Chairman Cora Gallagher said: “Of the 20 spaces available we still have 10 left to fill and hope to raise £5,000 from the day.”
The dive is tandem and the jumper will need to raise a minimum of £350 for Wiltshire Mind which entitles them to jump for free.
Alternatively they can pay for the jump themselves, at a cost of £225, and then fundraise for the charity separately.
To take part in the sky dive contact Wiltshire Mind on 01225 706532 or email office@wiltshiremind.co.uk by March 24.
