VOTERS will go to the polls today for a by-election for a town council seat in Devizes.
the three way fight is between mum of two Anna Cuthbert representing the Tories, Amanda Hopgood chairman of Devizes Labour Party and Peter Corbett representing the Guardians.
A polling booth will be set up in Hillworth Park, Devizes between 7am and 10pm for voters in south ward to choose their favourite candidate.
The election was called after the resignation of Conservative councillor Geoff Brewer, who has now decided to help The Green Party in the run up to the general election.
The Guardians have a majority of the town council and no matter which party is elected to the vacant slot this will not be afected.
