YOUNG people are being encouraged to help Calne’s youth activities take shape following the launch of the town’s Local Youth Network.
More than 40 people attended the launch on November 18 and community youth officer Helen Bradley is hoping more young people will get involved.
Ms Bradley will be at Calne’s winter festival with community area manager Jane Vaughan this Saturday canvassing more local views.
She said: “I want the LYN to be the driving force for youth work in our community. I want young people to have a say and set the vision for what’s provided in Calne.
“Calne is an extremely community orientated area and there are so many ideas around.”
Young people and community members will be meeting monthly from December.
