A POPULAR bike workshop in Urchfont, Finely Tuned Ride (FTR), has been nominated for a national award in the Bike Biz Awards 2014.
The annual event, in its seventh year, is hosted by cycling retailer magazine Bike Biz and Robert Rowe’s business has made it into the final seven in the workshop category.
The award ceremony is being held this week as the part of the Cycle Show 2014, a three-day event in Birmingham, and Mr Rowe is looking forward to the results, after being nominated by a customer.
The 38-year-old, of Haggs Lane, said: “I am over the moon, especially after looking at the other nominations who are some big names. It means so much to me just to be a finalist, let alone if I win.
“It will make the last four and a half years of hard work, long hours, late nights fixing bikes for the weekend so customers can go riding, so worthwhile.”
Another Wiltshire based company, TF Tuned in Westbury, have also been nominated in the same category.
