Devizes School saw the number of pupils achieving at least five A* to C grades, not including English and maths, increase by two per cent to 72 per cent.

Headteacher Malcolm Irons said that exact figures for those achieving at least five A* to C grades, including English and maths, were not available yet but were about the same as last year's 50 per cent.

"Most students beat their target grades and scored record average total points," he said.

Just got back from town, lot's of young people disappointed in their results, terrible Maths and English grades, my Child had D in English and D in maths last year she was distraught as it was not all her doing as some course work went missing, and teachers telling her she was suppid did nothing for her esteem.
This year at College she has a B in English and on course for a distinction in her Two year Sports course. September she will start doing her Maths, so life not over with poor results so please support the young people that are feeling let down.
