A man who is accused of carrying out a serious assault has been banned from going to his local supermarket.
Daniel Howlett, 27, has been released on bail on condition he does not contact witnesses or go to the Tesco store in Lyneham.
Howlett is accused of unlawfully wounding Mohammad Karmouni on Sunday, January 12.
No charge was formally put to Howlett, of Calne Road, Lyneham, and he did not enter a plea during a brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Friday, October 3, and released him on bail not to go to the shop, or its car park, or to contact witnesses.
