Five choirs, including one started by staff at Swindon’s Great Western Hospital, will sing at St Andrew’s Church, Chippenham, on Saturday.

The two-hour concert will raise money for the hospital’s charity Brighter Futures and its breast cancer treatment appeal.

The appeal launched in March, and the charity is hoping to raise £75,000 towards intra-operative radiotherapy for breast cancer patients.

Devizes-based chamber choir Schola will also perform, as well as the Southgate House Choir, Pewsey Belles Ladies Choir, and Adlib Vocal Ensemble, Bath.

Choirmaster and music producer Jules Addison will lead the Great Western Hospital choir who will sing a mixture of contemporary songs and old favourites.

The concert will run from 7.30-9.30pm. Tickets are £10 in advance or £12 on the door.
