I cannot pass up the letters that were written regarding my views on Doorway and the skateboard park. Over the years I have donated thousands of pounds to charities, namely Macmillan Nurses and Cancer Research. I am now disabled myself and living in a home.
I got made redundant when I was 48 and was offered £25 per week to keep my mother and myself, so I walked around Chippenham and got a position with the health authority. I didn’t lie in a doorway for people to feel sorry for me.
I have just made a donation to a charity for a young boy in Weymouth, so I am not all bad.
