Remark caused upset
Having read the letter from Mr J Comley in the June 5 Gazette & Herald regarding the Chippenham Folk Festival, I find the last paragraph totally unnecessary, upsetting, showing a lack of compassion and irrelevant to the folk festival.
Mr Comley suggests that people who support Doorway are wasting their money. Doorway does a marvellous job in helping people who are desperate and less fortunate than most people, including myself and, I suspect, Mr Comley.
However, I do support and enjoy attending Chippenham Folk Festival each year.
