A calf handling/showing competition at Chippenham Young Farmers’ Club proved popular after it was held for the first time in 20 years.
Members spent a Saturday washing, grooming and then handling their calf to the judges who travelled to each farm where the calves were kept. Then club members watched a film of the Saturday’s handling, followed by a prize giving to the winners.
