Devizes Royal British Legion is appealing for a mystery wreath layer to join them on Remembrance Sunday.
The wreath laid is in memory of all animals killed in conflict.
Franklin Richmond, co-ordinator of the Poppy Appeal in Devizes for the RBL, said different groups lay about 35 wreaths at the war memorial in Long Street on Remembrance Sunday but sometime after the ceremony the wreath remembering animals is put there.
Mr Richmond said: “The wreath is placed either later on Sunday or the following morning. It is laid in memory of the animals killed in action. We would like to welcome the person who lays this wreath to join us at the ceremony. It is greatly appreciated the sacrifice of all animals killed in conflict.”
