Children from Nursteed Community Primary School in Devizes discovered how exciting a career in engineering and science could be when they visited Cross Manufacturing last week .
Year 3 teacher Alison Hodges said: “This week we have been celebrating National Science and Engineering Week, and as part of learning I took my class to Cross Manufacturing in Devizes.
“We had the most amazing morning, touring the factory and learning about the design and production of engine parts. Our trip focused on design and innovation in technology and production, and was certainly inspiring.
“Whilst we always place a high importance on teaching an exciting science curriculum at Nursteed, we are encouraging the children to consider a scientific career in the future.”
