Malcolm Smith became president of Calne Probus club at its annual meeting, taking over from Roger Walters .
The AGM was held on March 11 at the Heritage Centre in Calne and other members of the new committee elected were: vice-president, Harry Lewis; secretary, Sally Woolacott; and treasurer, Vavi Sheppard. Three further members of the committee were also elected.
Mr Smith gave a short address explaining his vision for the future and Ms Woolacott gave a short talk with musical illustrations on the subject of spring.
