It was with a wry smile that I read the article in the Gazette recently concerning the go-ahead for cyclists to pedal across the Green in Devizes.
Despite ‘no cycling’ signs being in place for years, folk have biked along the footpath for as long as I can remember. Probably the same morons who regularly ride on the pavements of the town.
As a resident of the town for many years, I’ve yet to see anyone prosecuted for it.
