The Chippenham Lions had another successful fundraising champaign this Christmas with their carol float. Throughout December the club visited 16 local catchment areas and collected at two superstores. Through these initiatives they were able to raise in excess of £10,000, despite some very wet outings. As well as helping individuals in need, these funds will go to a number of causes including a disabled games day and an outing for the Chippenham PHAB club.
All in all, it was a very rewarding experience, not just for raising the funds, but also to see the kiddies lined up to greet Santa.
The club would like to thank the people of Corsham and Chippenham for their generosity. For more information you can visit our website.
