People are invited to celebrate Burns night and help raise money for St Mary’s Trust’s plans to refurbish St Mary’s Church in Devizes.
A three-course Burns supper is being held on January 25 in St John’s Parish Rooms, Long Street, Devizes.
This will be followed by ceilidh dancing to Pack Horse Band and tickets are £35 from Devizes Books.
Organiser and Devizes resident Judy Rose has held many Burns nights at home for friends and previously arranged a fundraiser for Victim Support.
She said: “Robert Burns’ writing speaks to everyone and has made him an international poet enjoyed and revered all over the world.
“More Burns nights are held out of Scotland than in it.”
