I would just like to thank Devizes people and people living all over England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Europe, Africa, Australia, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine for the wonderful support in cards and letters I’ve had since my husband Ray Roberts (ex-Devizes school teacher) died.
He was held in high esteem and people have said fantastic things about Ray. To top this, I had a beautiful book given to me, written by one of Ray’s students John Davison, Every Day above a New Horizon. What really hit me was that he dedicated the book to Ray by way of saying thank you for teaching him to go walking throughout countries and writing this book.
Thank you John and everybody else for letting me know how much Ray meant to you. He would have been so proud.
