I wish to thank every single person, who put money into my collection while I was singing in Marlborough High Street on December 1 for the Philippines.
I raised £77.60 which I sent immediately to some friends in Cebu (Medillen and Bogo), Philippines. They still are without electricity and fresh water.
One person I know has lost her mother, the roof of her house and all her belongings. She is now suffering as you can imagine. I know this money will help so much.
I was there when the super typhoon Haiyan swept across the islands at 2pm. We lost electricity and water for five days. Luckily I was safe. Just 60 miles away it was complete devastation, as you have probably seen on the TV news.
Many thanks to you all.
Mickey Dobie, Lansdown Place, Marlborough.
