On behalf of Devizes Evening WI committee I would like to say a very big thank you to the many businesses and independent traders of Devizes who generously donated raffle prizes for our recent fund-raising evening for the Nursteed Centre on November 16. The raffle raised £258 for centre funds.
Devizes Evening WI meets at the Nursteed Centre on the second Wednesday of the month.
Our members and guests were wonderfully entertained by Lisa Faye who performed her West End and Edinburgh Festival 5* award- winning ‘Streisand the Main Event’.
Her beautiful and powerful voice enthralled and delighted her audience as she told the Barbra Streisand story through her singing and dialogue.
Sincere thanks to committee members for facilitating such a memorable evening.
