Chippenham teen Malisha Lidder cried tears of joy when she met her idols The Saturdays.
The 14-year-old, of Charter Road, won a competition to meet the girl group before they performed at the Christmas lights switch-on at Cribbs Causeway, north of Bristol.
Malisha is now the envy of all her friends at Sheldon School after having her photo taken with
Una, Mollie, Rochelle, Vanessa and Frankie.
Mum Coke Lidder, 38, a nursery practitioner at New Road nursery, said: “When she walked in and saw them she was in total awe.
“And when Rochelle went to hug her she started to cry. She’s made of tough stuff my daughter, she’s not a crier, so I was gobsmacked.
“When I look at the photo I think, if she was just a bit taller she could be one of the band. She wants clothes like theirs now and I say, everything in good time.”
