A limited number of Early Bird tickets to next summer’s WOMAD Festival will go on sale tomorrow.

They will remain on sale on line or over the phone until January 3, unless they sell out beforehand.

WOMAD, The World’s Festival, will return to its home at Charlton Park in Malmesbury from Thursday July 24 to Sunday July 27. The line-up for next year’s festival will be announced in the New Year.

WOMAD director Chris Smith said: “Despite a biblical downpour halfway through this year’s event the festival’s spirit remained unbroken resulting in another unforgettable WOMAD.

“Rain or shine WOMAD 2014 promises to be a festival to remember. We’ll have some astonishing artists to announce in the New Year.”

This year the WOMAD Foundation is launching an appeal to raise funds to extend their work with artists, children and young people across the UK and beyond.

WOMAD is inviting everyone who purchases a ticket to WOMAD 2014 to make a small donation to the Foundation and for every free child ticket claimed families are being asked to make a voluntary donation of £5 per child for children 13 yrs and under.

Along with the discounted tickets WOMAD will be bringing back the popular family friendly four monthly payment plan to allow WOMAD festival goers to spread their total payments over a longer period of time.
