Salisbury District Hospital has met all essential quality and safety standards, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has found.
Inspectors carried out an unannounced inspection on October 2 as a follow-up to concerns about staffing levels and some patient records being left unattended on wards when it visited in February this year.
A report on its latest visit says: “All the patients we spoke to found the staff caring and professional.
“The wards were busy, but staff would answer the call bells and deal with any questions promptly. We found the trust had made sufficient progress to improve staffing levels.
“We also found the trust had put in place effective measures to prevent confidential patient information being left in areas accessible to the general public.”
Peter Hill, chief executive of the hospital, said: “We are pleased the CQC has found us to be fully compliant now in all areas.”
