A bring and buy auction evening is being staged in Marlborough on Friday to raise money for the Philippines disaster appeal.
The event, jointly organised by Eric's Attic in the town and the Jubilee Auction Rooms, Pewsey, has been hastily put together to help save lives affected by Typhoon Hayain.
The auction will be held at the Green Dragon pub, Marlborough, who have donated their back room free of charge, starting at 6pm on the Friday.
David Harrison of the Jubilee Auction Rooms said: "We are asking people to donate items for the auction and what a great chance to get rid of last year's Christmas presents and pick up some presents for this Christmas.
"We have started the ball rolling and people have been exceedingly generous so far. A lot of people have become involved but if anyone has any items they'd like to donate, to help raise money for a great cause, let us know."
