Plans for Wiltshire College’s new Chippen-ham campus go on public display on Wednesday.

The college announced last month its proposals to build a £21m state-of-the-art building on land behind the existing college buildings off Cocklebury Road.

The public is invited to attend the exhibition in the Cove Theatre at the Chippenham campus from 2pm until 8pm.

They will be able to discuss the proposals with college representatives and provide comments.

Wiltshire College Vice Principal Andrew Clare said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Wiltshire College to greatly improve its teaching facilities in Chippenham, for the benefit of the town as a whole.

“We are keen to strengthen our links with the town and see the redevelopment of our currently outdated campus at Cocklebury Road.”

The plans will remain on show for two weeks before a formal planning application is submitted.

The new facilities could open in September 2015.
