A new look Co-op store has reopened in Malmesbury after a £350,000 refurbishment.
The shop in High Street has been redesigned to focus on good food, wine and modern cuisine, with more fresh and chilled produce. The investment includes a new floor and self-service tills.
Mayor John Gundry officially opened the store last Thursday. He said: “We are absolutely overjoyed at Co-Op’s vote of confidence in the town. It’s absolutely marvellous.
“We have got a revamped store that, when I spoke to staff they said they were really proud of. It’s another attraction to bring people in to the high street.
“It looks much sleeker now and it’s brighter, and that improves the shopper’s experience.”
