MP Claire Perry has shown her support for this year’s Movember fundraiser by becoming a MoSista with a brand new fake moustache.
Movember was started by just two patients and has grown over the last five years into a global movement raising more than £250 million for programmes supporting prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s mental health.
Last year in the UK more than 365,000 Mo Bros, men who grow moustaches during the month of November, joined the Movember campaign, raising £30m in the UK, and recently this group has been joined by MoSistas who show their support with fake moustaches.
Mrs Perry said: “As a MoSista, I am delighted to give my support to this vital campaign and it is so important that we do all we can to heighten awareness of these threats to men’s health.”
