Chippenham Farmers' Market will be held on Sunday November 17 to avoid a clash with Remembrance Day this coming Sunday.
The numbers of stalls are already on the increase with stallholders and customers alike declaring the first market in October in the High Street as 'showing promise' despite the wet weather.
Organisers anticipate that at the November market there will be at least 15 stalls offering freshly picked local vegetables, cheeses, breads, pastries, cakes, preserves, venison, meats and meat products, fudge, natural skin care products and wood fired pizza (if not too windy).
Again, subject to a license, there will be hand made cider and, it is hoped, the English Wine Company.
The market will then return to the planned second Sunday monthly on December 8, from 10am to 2pm.
