What has happened to the Crammer in Devizes? Will we ever see it full again?
I know it has been a fairly dry summer and the water level always drops in the summer but we are in the middle of October now, and we have had quite a lot of rain lately but there are no signs of the muddy patches disappearing.
I have not seen the Canada geese for some time, do they and the swans have trouble in landing and taking off with the low water level?
There has been lot of work carried out on the walls recently. Has the bed of the Crammer been damaged when it was drained and is the water seeping out? I don’t think I’ve seen the Crammer really full since this work was done. What was once a beauty spot is becoming a muddy puddle.
