YOUNG people unveiled a mural celebrating diversity at GreenSquare in Chippenham this week.
The 12 to 15-year-olds created the graffiti mural last October as part of Youth Action Wiltshire’s Inspire, a creative arts project.
It took two days to create and has been on display at GreenSquare’s Methuen Park offices since Monday.
The eight artists were from Chippenham, Corsham and Calne.
Ryan Smith, 16, said: “I’m really pleased to see the mural hanging up. It was so much fun making it, especially learning about all the different design techniques like using spray cans. We chose the theme of cultural diversity because we’d been learning about different cultures on the project.”
Kieran Major, 15, said he had enjoyed Project Inspire so much he decided to continue it next year.
Cleo Evans, youth support co- ordinator for Youth Action Wiltshire, said: “The project is great for young people from different backgrounds to come together and we hope to be able to continue to make the project a success.”
