WILTSHIRE Council is launching its Stroke Awareness Campaign at County Hall in Trowbridge on Tuesday.
The event is part of World Stroke Day and will have health experts giving advice to those recovering from a stroke. There will also be blood tests taking place and stroke prevention advice will be given.
Stroke survivors can also find out about exercise after stroke classes, which run at leisure centres across Wiltshire.
Maggie Rae, Wiltshire Council corporate director, said: “Our exercise after stroke classes are just one of the ways we can directly improve the lives of stroke survivors.
“The launch of the campaign is a great opportunity to bring together some of the expertise and help available and we hope people will come and visit one of the exhibitions.”
