The Post Office has announced plans to move Bromham Post Office into a shop in the village.
A proposal has been made to move the office from its current location on New Road to Bromham Stores, on The Chantry.
The new office would have longer opening hours, offering 88 hours a week for access to products and services, including 10 hours on Sundays.
Post Office regional network manager, Will Russell, said: “The modernisation is part of a major investment programme to convert the Post Office network to new-style branches and this investment, the largest in the history of the Post Office, makes a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.”
Members of the public are invited to give their comments on the move as part of a six-week consultation before a final decision.
Submissions can be made via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, or on 08457 223344.
