Colerne tucked into a Big Breakfast on Saturday and raised £1,000 for a Uganda orphanage.
The event at Colerne Village Hall saw visitors enjoy a free breakfast, which was cooked by a team of volunteers, and make donations in aid of Bulabakulu Orphanage.
The events regularly take place in Corsham and the surrounding area. The fundraiser welcomed Patience Kansiime, a former resident at the orphanage who was in the UK and came to support the event.
Organiser Monique Johnstone said: “We did really well and the turnout was great as we welcomed lots of new people which will help spread the word.
“Patience really enjoyed the event and it was her first ever English breakfast. It was very different for her, but she enjoyed it.”
The next Big Breakfast is taking place between 8.30am and 11.30am at St Aldhelm’s Church, in Corsham, on Saturday, December 14.
