Families had a blooming great time at the Oare and District annual flower and produce show on Saturday.
There was an array of classes in the show, which was held in Pound Lane field, including flowers, vegetables and fruit, cakes, handicrafts and photography.
During the show, which has been running for more than 20 years, the winners of the annual scarecrow completion were announced with first place going to the McCullough family.
Show secretary Victoria Le Sueur said: “I was pleasantly surprised because it has been such a peculiar growing year.
“The year got off to a slow start and then during the hot weather growing took over itself and a lot of things that should still be in season aren’t anymore.
“We had less flower, fruit and vegetable entries and more in the produce and children’s classes. We had lots of local people and people who were not so local as well.”
