A rare opportunity has come up to move into a Grade II-listed almshouse in Hilmarton.
There are five almshouses in Hilmarton available to those over 65 with a connection to the village.
They are managed by the Poynder Almshouses Trust.
Jacquie Henly, the clerk for the trustee board, said: “The almshouse will be completely decorated and tidied up before someone moves in.
“The almshouses have a small garden, they’re in the old part of the village, and they’re really cosy. They have a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom and a bathroom.
“We are looking for someone to move in. If they have a connection to the village they will be looked upon favourably.”
